If you are interested in a tutorial on how to play Japanese visual novels with a translator, send me a message. These games don’t have an English release or an English translation, which means you have to play the Japanese version, but you can use a translator like me. Sorry this took a little longer but here is part 2~ (The beginning doesn’t hold a candle to the shit that goes down later on, though, I assure you.Recommendation of BL games everyone should play Part 2 So sally forth into the Capital of Splendours, and find out how the story voted one of the best BL games ever created is supposed to begin.

There’s also the fact that it was meant to be read in a PDF with 5,000 translator’s notes….so, while you’ll be missing out on the ‘oh this thing and this concept and this political movement is what they’re referring to in this scene and this is why I made this rather weird translation call’ and I’m really sorry that I didn’t really make concessions for this……you’ll find the atmosphere of the period rather intact, to the best of my ability at the time. My primary aim for this translation was to maintain the atmosphere of the Taisho period and make it very clear that it’s not supposed to be immediately relatable from a modern perspective, therefore, I did the barest minimum of localization changes I could.

Sorry, guys! *winces*)īut whenever I reread it, it always holds up far, far better than I expect it to.

(The patch team contacted me about it and gave me a lot of time to implement changes….but then life blew up in my face and I dropped off the face of the Earth for them. I’ve changed quite a fair bit as a translator since then and there are spots where I would’ve changed things, if I do it now. I translated this back in 2013….my, how the time flies. IF YOU’VE ALWAYS WANTED TO PLAY MEBIUSLINE, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR. Please feel free to share this link and information! All I can do is get your message to the right person. Again, I cannot and will not fix anything myself or provide any sort of support.

If you find any bugs in the game (crashes, etc), you are welcome to contact me with screenshots and a description of what went wrong, and I will pass the information on to Danmei for troubleshooting. As such, I cannot answer questions or provide technical support. Please read the linked page carefully and follow the instructions - they have been tested (by me!) and they are accurate. *points* I am only contributing webspace for file distribution. Please note that this patch is NOT our work. All credits go to the fine people listed above. This patch features top-notch translations by Snowgoose / lookiamnotcreative( get more of their Mebiusline translations here - lots of short stories!) and programming assistance from binaryfail and Huang Ling Yin, with project coordination by Danmei/GalGame.
